Rite Aid 101

RiteAid (RA) Basics
Need a shopping card? No
Internet printable coupon-friendly? On again, off again. Lately the policy is that they DO accept them. Yay!
Reward Program? Single Check Rebates (SCR) (monthly booklets are in stores and also available online)
Gift of Savings (GOS) - a program that RA runs a couple times a year. During a certain time period, you earn a reward for every penny you spend in the store, even on rebate items! It usually looks something like this - $25-$50, get back $5, spend $51-$100, get back $10 or spend over $100, get back $20. The rewards come as RA money, not a regular check and are usually good for a couple months. If RA is running some good rebate items during this same time period, it can be pretty easy to get your total high without spending much at all OOP.
  • Can submit your rebates online and track their status
  • You can submit your receipts over the month or all at once but you can only request your check once a month.
Hounding Tips:
  • Can use a RiteAid coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
  • If you buy an item that has a RA rebate and a manufacturer’s rebate – you can double dip because you’re not mailing your receipts to RA. Just wait to send your receipt to the manufacturer until your RA rebate status is confirmed or until you get your rebate check/gift card (to be double safe.)
Thanks
